NPower Pre-Selection List status– How to Check Your Name|check your status right now
The long wait is over, let’s talk about N-power pre selection list for those who have meet all requirements ( both academic and non academic) let’s show you how to check if your names is among the pre selection list.
Should in case you are having issues checking your name, just follow the steps we put down here.
Note: Npower will organise a final physical verification exercise for those who have been shortlisted before they are deployed to their respective place of assignment.
Each applicant will individually get his or her credentials verify if they are actually genuine or fake. SMS and email will be sent out soon to all.
N-Power verification process 2023/2024 :
The NPower verification process requires some document for proper documentation to take place, so go with the following documents:
- Date of Birth Certificate
- BSc, HND Certificate
- SSCE & Ond Certificates
- NYSC Discharged Certificate

- To check your Npower pre selection status, here is the status link checker : www.npower.gov.ng
- Click on “Check your pre-selection status”.
- Input your Name or Phone Number or Email address or BVN
- That’s all for now. Remember we are going to update this post immediately the portal has been activated for checking.
Note: don’t fail to keep checking your mail if you haven’t received any SMS when other beneficiaries are getting theirs.
There shall be physical verification so get prepared very well for this. We shall help with the date once its out.

Federal Government increases N-Power beneficiaries numbers to one million- Official
From the previous 500,000 beneficiaries that benefited from the programme, the Government has ordered the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, to ensure speedily that another 500,000 beneficiaries are added to make it up to 1million .
Other schemes that got this presidential order is the GEEP which will will get more funding to raise the existing beneficiaries to 1million.
Home-Grown School Feeding Also we get a slight increase. All this programme is under NSIP programmes, also called the National Social Investment Programmes.
Note: Npower came into existence to help cushion the effect of unemployment, lack of Government clear directive and programme for the youth. With Npower on board the present administration has fulfilled most of its social programmes promised during the last election.
