Has INEC released the list of shortlisted Adhoc staff? That is the question on the lips of many Nigerians who participated in the INEC recruitment  exercise.

There have been speculations that the INEC ad-hoc shortlisted candidates have been released, but we confidently advised you to debunk all the rumors. At the time of this post, the Independent National Electoral Commission is yet to publish the names of successful applicants.

However, you must know how to access the list whenever it is finally released. This is why we have decided to show you how to go about it.

What Is INEC Adhoc Shortlisted Candidates

In the meantime, INEC Adhoc shortlisted candidates is a list that contains the names of successful applicants who are selected to progress to the next level of the recruitment exercise.

How To Know If You Are Among The Shortlisted Candidates

There are two ways to know if you’re selected to participate in INEC pre-screening exams. They include Email and INEC Adhoc Staff Recruitment Portal

You will receive a congratulatory message from the organizers if you are one of the applicants eligible to participate in the next phase. The message consists of the time and venue for the screening.

This method is very easy as it doesn’t require much stress or time. You only need to keep a close tab on your email address to see if the commission will send you a message or not.

Should you receive the message from the recruitment organizers, endeavor to print it out and attach it to your registration acknowledgment slip.

Take both slips along with you to the screening venue to confirm your eligibility.

However, to explore this method, you must ensure you provide an accessible and accurate email address during registration.

This method is a bit cumbersome because you would have to carry out the following steps:

  • Input your application number in the required column.
  • Next step requires you to click on the ‘Verify status’ button to access the list.
  • It might be difficult going through the names one after the other. So, you are advised to click on the ‘f3 button’ on your keyboard.

Then, you should provide your name in the box available. Lastly, press the ‘enter’ key for the system to automatically bring out your name. Alternatively, you can click on your state and go through the names published in that category to see if you are included or not.

What Next After INEC Adhoc Shortlisted Candidates

As stated above, shortlisted candidates are expected to proceed to the next phase of the recruitment process which is pre-screening exams and verification of credentials.

Having received a message telling you the venue and time of the screening, you are advised to take the original and photocopy of the following credentials along with you:

  • Passports photographs
  • full-length photographs of 5 x 7 dimension.
  • Pencil
  • Biro or pen
  • International passport or National Identity Card.
