UBEC Recruitment operates on same level with that of Federal Teachers Scheme, its 24 months programme where the federal government acts as recruiter for states and local government schools through out the country.

This programme has been in existence right from 2016 with one major objective which is to improve qualitative education in all basic education level.

UBEC Recruitment Requirements

• UBEC only need teachers with B.Sc in education, post Graduate Diploma in education, NCE.
• Interested applicants should first get done with NYSC programme and must have the NYSC certificate or exemption latter

Teachers that are specialist in any of the following subjects can apply :

• Computer Science or Information Technology
• Biology, Chemistry and Physics
• Agricultural Science
• Home Economics
• Computer Science
• English Language
• Mathematics
• Integrated Science

Teachers Scheme: Nigerian govt to deploy 3,700 teachers to states, FCT

Attention everyone, the federal Government FG, will be deploying nothing less than 3700 teachers to all states to cushion the shortfall of teachers in public schools.

Currently there is fall in manpower in almost all public schools. Stakeholders has been calling on the federal Government to help bridge the gap as soon as possible.

From our findings we discover that last recruitment test saw about 14,000 candidates who participated in the screening exercise and exam and there is currently no plans by the Government to employ all candidate rather they plan to employ just 100 per state.

Federal teachers scheme: UBEC alerts applicants to fake recruitment portal

Reports from UBEC suggests that criminals are taking advantage of the ongoing UBEC massive recruitment to dupe interested applicants.

They go about opening fake federal Teachers Scheme FST /UBEC Recruitment portal, while others make use of social media to carry out their activities.

The management of UBEC is unhappy over these findings and has directed its public relations officer to issue warning to applicant not to give out their bank verification number and also not to pay any money into bank account in the name of recruitment.

Note:

UBEC will never ever ask for your bank verification number for any reason remember that BVN is something that should not be exposed anyhow so keep it safe.
